Fees, exactly

pump.fun's fee, split between the protocol and the vault, and every basis point has a name.

Every trade of a Socialpad coin pays pump.fun’s fee, charged on the SOL side of the trade, on the bonding curve and, after graduation, on the PumpSwap pool.

pump.fun’s fee

pump.fun splits its fee between the protocol and the coin’s creator, and the split depends on the coin’s market cap: the rate is highest for a brand-new coin and eases through a schedule of tiers as the coin grows. The schedule lives in pump.fun’s fee program and Socialpad reads it live; the launch page shows the rate a new coin starts at, and each coin’s page shows its rate right now.

For a Socialpad coin the creator is the vault, so the creator’s part of every fee accrues to it, on the curve and on PumpSwap alike.

What the vault keeps

The vault collects the creator fee. When the owner claims, what it collects goes to the Socialpad treasury: the treasury’s share is currently the whole of it. No fee is added on top of pump.fun’s.

What has no fee

  • Opening a vault to a wallet. Socialpad pays the transaction fees.
  • Launching. pump.fun charges no launch fee; the launcher’s wallet pays the network’s rent and fees, about 0.02 SOL.

Changing the terms

pump.fun sets its schedule for every coin on the platform; Socialpad cannot change it for its coins. The treasury share is Socialpad’s own rule, applied at claim time and stated here.

Continue with the account a coin was launched for. Socialpad never sees a password; the platform's own login does the checking.

Signing in through a platform links its handle to you. That link is what opens a vault.
